Quentin Vauléon elected Best French young sommelier

Last June 27, the final of the « Trophée Duval-Leroy » was taking place in Paris, awarding the best French young sommelier every 2 years. Quentin Vauléon, sommelier of the Pavillon Ledoyen won with brio the contest combining general knowledge, professional technics and samplings.

Aged 25, he outdistanced the 140 young sommeliers that participated to the qualificative trials and the 10 others candidates selected by the Union of the French Sommellerie of Philippe Faure-Brac for the final. In 2015, he had reached the final and was semi-finalist of the Best French Sommelier contest in 2016. But his skill doesn’t stop there. Indeed, the young man won the « Nespresso Trophy » in 2017, unveiling his exceptional knowledge of the coffee.

Congratulations to him and to the whole team of the Pavillon Ledoyen.
